It''s probably TINSTAAFL which stands for:
There Is No Such Thing As A Free Lunch.

With an A I would image it is:
There Ain''t No Such Thing As A Free Lunch.
so there is a book named:
There Is No Such Thing As A Free Lunch
for game programming?????
He''s a staff memeber and he has written a game dev book.
TANSTAAFL, not TINSTAAFL, is correct.
sjelkjd if you know TANSTAAFL, not TINSTAAFL, is correct then what is TANSTAAFL?

It is most likely a book about the software quality of games and how to program a game with quality code. The Jargon Dictionary at,
http://info.astrian.net/jargon/terms/t/TANSTAAFL.html, states:

"''There Ain''t No Such Thing As A Free Lunch'', often invoked when someone is balking at the...poor quality of some piece of software...".

Just guessing.

You may want to check "The moon is a harsh mistress", By Robert Heinlein...
