textures for 3d objects...

Hello, I was wondering how to make textures for 3d models that were seamless and not distorted... For example say a cube... I know that I can make all of the sides work by having the texture coords scale from 0 to 1 as I go around the perimiter of cube, but then the top will have a seam. How can I keep from getting seams on ANY of the edges without distorting the texture... Dwiel

creating seamless good looking tiles is one of the heaviest things...
there are some tutorials around,also some software for doing this.
try to search for "seamless tiles making"
