From what i remember the ATI9800 gfx cards have this little feature ''em them, now i''ve not had a chance to read the only PDF on it but from the brief bit of txt before it it comes across to me as a FIFO buffer which stores all the fragment data pre-rasterization. SO, would i be correct in thinking that this would be a way of simpifying the drawing of semi-transprant objects WITHOUT the need for depth sorting (as each fragment would hold depth infomation anyways)? Also, do you see this as becoming a big/widely used thing? Any examples of where you think it might be usefull would also be nice to hear
