Hi! I was wondering if you know where i can find information about how to implement certain probability distributions, preferably in c but it doesnt really matter. I looked at the numerical recepies in c, and found it quite useful but my problem is that the functions a need to implement don''t have the same means as those. Maybe this can be changed easily?? thanks a lot --Spencer "Relax, this dragon is sleeping..."

There is only one parameter for the exponential and Poisson distributions, lambda. If you have a variable from an exp(1) distribution, just divide by lambda to get exp(lambda)-distribution. The mean is 1/lambda.
