i''m writing some app and i need to know when user switches away from my main window (i''m processing WM_ACTIVATE message). the problem is directshow because when i play a movie it must run in sub-window so my window recieves false WM_ACTIVATE. and i need to know if we''re switching to completly another window or only to dshow window. is it possible? (my idea is to to use GetWindowThreadProcessId to determine handles of both windows and compare but i don''t know who is the owner of that dshow window - it doesn''t seem to be my process...) please could you help? any ideas, suggestions, anything...
