mouse position to world units

hi, can anyone tell me how can i cast a ray from the mouse position with a given horizontal and vertical angle? i mean i have use a camera given by a point(the source) a horizontal and vertical angle and the distance to the focus. i want to create a line from the camera position plane to the terrain plane.i know how to cast the rayfrom a given point but i don''t know the point where the mouse cursor is in the camera plane. So how can i find this point? and after i find the coordinate of the point is it right if i cast the ray parallel 2 the line that conects the point of view with the focus? thk u
