Terrain example? Dx9+VB

Hiya! I know this has been asked before... without replies... But... Has anyone a working example of how to make terrains from a bmp using vb.Net in Directx9? I have played around a bit with the billboard-example in the SDK but I would like to try a bit more complex environment than sin-curves... Thnx in advance!

I don''t know about samples, but why don''t you just create your own? Instead of loading from a sin table, load the height-values in by reading the hex value from a bitmap. It''s pretty straight-forward. Take a look at www.directx4vb.com. Most of the tuts are vb6, but the same ideas for reading hex values in vb code will apply.
