Perspective&Orthographic matrix *explanation*

hi i just passed my finals and now i want to mess around with perspective and orthographic matrices i learned the basics of matrices on my own cause in school we never did anything into this direction *fuck education minister* so what i am looking for is an in depth description of how you get a perspective/orthographic matrix i have already search the gamedev.net articles but they only present facts without proof thx in advance..

For proofs, you could look in some formal textbooks, such as the classic "Computer Graphics: Principles and Practice" by Foley, van Dam, et al. Outside of the books or a classroom, you may not find a proof.

If you''re good a math, you could try to prove the solution yourself, .
