Its very fast, 400mb''s a second, multiple lines in fact you would need a hundred or so t3 lines pulling at it before it gets angry.... as for bandwidth - the more you use the better as it means more people are coming on your site and therefore looking at my banner....
If my math is correct that is 3 OC3''s? OC3 = 84 T1''s. Were ever this stuff is at would be a bit odd that all they want is a banner?

They''re not going to use all the bandwidth up though are they! Im talking someones personal site with their ideas and code and downloads. Not Download.com

Not necessarily too big, but if it''s merely a plug for the host and not third-party ads (like what GameDev uses) then I think there''s no reason for it to be quite that big. Basically it should be big enough to be easy to read and you should summarize hosting stats on the banner (price, "ASP/CGI/FTP", etc.)
