I would use D3DXCreateTextureFromFileEx to load an image to use as tile map for background... The problem is i would use a sort of CopyRect with LPDIRECT3DTEXTURE8* object returned, so that i can use only a part (a little RECT) from all image loaded, how? What is the right function to do that?

oh! it is simply CONST RECT* pSrcRect...
