Here''s an idea to do it in hardware for double or quadrupled sized lines.
Render all your lines to a texture [rendertarget] that''s a power of 2 smaller than your screen size. Then draw the quad fullsized and hardware will scale it up, giving you extra thick lines. (it may look jaggedy but that''s the style yo)

1) ID3DXLine.

2) Drawing as quads (like ID3DXLine) are how wide lines are achieved internally with other APIs, and drivers.

If you''re going to use Lines to draw Outlines of objects please tell me if it worked and how you did it...
