Question about sprites

Hey, I have some small questions about Direct 3D and 2d games... Currently, i''m using a 2d tile based game... Everything for now is using sprites. I made a game before, in D3D, using polygon to do a 2d game, I could rotate these polygon... But with Sprites, is there a way to rotate them in 360degrees ? Or should I use both Sprites and polygon in my 2d game ? Thanks

I tried the rotate function, but, because I''m using just a part of my bitmap picture, it doesn''t rotate correctly...
It doesn''t rotate from the center of my sprite, it look to be rotating like if it would be the full sized bitmap wich is rotating?


Is there a way to fix it ?

People will get the shits if you ask a question that is easily found in the DirectX documentation. One of the parameters you pass the draw function is the centre of the rotation. If you are too lazy to read the documentation, dont waste our time.
