I have a MFC7/DirectX9 game that I would like to compile in such a way that will end up with just one executable file, so that the game will run on any Windows machine on earth with DX9 being the only requirement. Is that possible? If so, how?

keywords: link static library

In VC6, linking to MFC as a static library was only an option in Pro and Enterprise editions, in Standard you had no choice and had to distribute the MFC .dll. Has this changed in VC7?
