.net and game programming

Hi, i was wondering how the .net (managed directx) will affect the current trend of game programming in c/c++ with ogl/dx9... and does the .net framework have anything that supports the development of mobile games? need some enlightenment thx! edwinz

For Mobile Games -- The trend might as well be .net because it has the most portability out of all the others... And for the next gen games, I dont think so, first of all, it is too expensive and second of all it has not the exact capabilities that a game-devver desires...
