Does anybody know any good DirectX books for a beginner?

Tricks of the Windows Game Programming Guru''s is excellent, although it only touches on the topics of DirectDraw(for graphics), DirectSound and DirectMusic, and DirectInput, its still a very good book , since it also teaches you the basic structure of the DirectX components.

Other than that, i''d say read the DX docs. sorry heh. DX docs are surprisingly good though even for a newbie.
I mainly am going through:

- "Programming Role Playing Games in DirectX 8.0" - Good, though it wraps everything

- DirectX Sdk - For understanding what the book is talking about

- These Forums - for when everything goes to hell and I can''t work it out...
