Hi, How do I check, in C++, if a certain line of text (in a file) exists? For example, this line may, or may not exist: shader "Data\yeah.tga" if it does, the shader will be processed, if it doesn't, it will not... how do I do this? by the way... I'm reading this line like this: fscanf(file, "shader \"%s\"", shaderPath); Thanks [edited by - FreJa on June 3, 2003 5:29:09 PM]

// Open file here

do
{
fscanf(file, "shader \"%s\"", shaderPath);
if(strcmp("
Data\yeah.tga", shaderPath) == 0)
{
// line found, process it

}
} while (!feof(file));
