I want to load a .blend file into my game to use as an object. I searched a good number of places and I couldn''t find how to use this format. Wotsit''s doesn''t have information on it. I''m not interested in using the Blender engine to make games. Is there a way to convert a .blend into a format that can be loaded easily? maybe a 3ds, or obj or md3 format? There''''s an astronomical difference in being the best and being the best of the best.

Now that Blender is open source, I would imagine you could figure out the format, but it is probably fugly as anything. There are, however, a ton of Python export scripts out there that will export out to just about any format you want. The 3DS and OBJ formats are really easy to read in, do a search for those Blender export scripts.
