No, it wouldn''t. GLUT could be comprehensively covered in no more than 10 tutorials. GLUT essentially covers windowing and input. There is absolutely no need to talk about alpha blending, world navigation, particles, quake-style rendering, multitexturing, etc. in an exclusively GLUT tutorial.

It doesn''t matter anyways because all the tutorials have been ported over to glut and SDL and all the other ones.. so if you don''t like the Win32 stuff just use something else
