Hi, i guess the subject says it all really.
I am about to complete first year university computing and i would really like to try making basic games, but i have no idea about how to begin or how to build one with any sort of animated graphics.
If you know of a newbie game programmer site or a tutorial i could do please let me know!!!!

The best place to start from is to click the link on the main page New? Start Here. Its at the top of the page. There should be enought here to get you started and then some.
