Testing if OpenGL is using hardware...

Does anyone know what functions can be used to test whether an OpenGL program is using any hardware acceleration? I''ve got a program that''s dropped to like <5 fps, and I''m thinking the problem is most likely a lack in hardware acceleration. I''m pretty sure it''s not bad drivers... I''ve got the latest geforce4 ti4200 drivers, and other programs run just fine and healthy.

What extensions are you trying? You could try extracting the string for GL_RENDERER, GL_VENDOR, but the main way of finding out if you''re using hardware is for the framerate to drop severely
