I heard that the powerdraw 3 will never be finished and that Lifepower is working on PD4. Is it true? I would like to hear some news, if it is possible, please? Maybe something about commercial and non commercial versions of PD4.

Greetz, PowerDraw pre-release 3 is considered final public release for PowerDraw 3 series. Current work is focused on Asphyre Component Pack, which will be available in two versions, one of which will be free. I wouldn''t disclose the features to be seen in Asphyre yet, but this component pack is supposed to be a final solution on creating competitive games using newest technologies: it''ll include the components we''ve been using for some time, which includes PowerDraw graphics core, database system supported by VTDb 2.0, enhanced security and performance. No matter what and how much I say now about Asphyre, it won''t reflect all the features it''ll contain. I know some PowerDraw uses may be unpatient to see the Asphyre Component Pack, but I''d say it''s going all right and will support backward compatibility with PowerDraw pre3.

Hope this explains the fact that PowerDraw wasn''t updated for some time...
