Moving Glide code from Voodoo 2 to 3
Hi All:
I''ve got some code that was working fine on a Macintosh with a Voodoo 2 card. I upgraded the card to Voodoo 3 and what was really great isn''t textures don''t line up, some look inverted, objects in the distance think they''re transparent, etc. I''m using Beta 12 drivers and the ROM has been flashed appropriately.
Is there a document someplace that I can read that describes areas of concern when moving code from Voodoo 2 to 3. Or does anyone have any hints?
Thanks in advance.
All best

Hi JohnC,
You problem is really weird you known ! But maybe you misuse Alpha in your Draw Call. That may cause some object to seam transparent.
If you use Glide on your voodoo, i known that 3dFx change the GrVertex structure organization.. So maybe its worth the time to take a look at the new docs from 3Dfx.

Happy Coding,
