Direct3D Animation with X files

does any1 know any good tutorial or at least understandable c++ source code on how to use animation from x files?? SDK samples (like skinning sample which includes animation as well) are totaly headache... lol at least for me

Jim Adam''s book on Advanced Animation with DirectX is a great resource for information on .x files.

I just got the book,
I only had the time to skim through it, but it looks as though it includes EVERYTHING you need to know about animation using the .X file format.
BTW: If I may suggest, a good approach might be to study first animation in an API free environment, so that you understand the global concepts of animation.
