I am writing a program in Visual C# .NET and want to do some basic 3D functions (plot points in space, draw lines, shade an area). I have never used DirectX before, and would like some help in setting up my project to use DirectX 9. I have already downloaded the DX9 SDK for C#. I have my form, and I want to put a DX9 control in the form. Can someone give me the steps to take to do something like add the control, setup the scene, and draw the X,Y,Z axis in the control. Thanks!

The examples that come with the SDK are a good start - they should be able to help you with whatever you need
