fullscreen/windowed display with directx

hello all, i started coding with directx this week and i have a newbie question about it. in my program theres a menu option that switches to fullscreen mode (and the user can switch back to windowed mode by pressing esc while on fullscreen mode). here''s what the program do to switch to fullscreen mode: SetMenu (hWnd, NULL); SetWindowLong (hWnd, GWL_STYLE, WS_POPUP | WS_VISIBLE); dxDisplay->SetCooperativeLevel (hWnd, DDSCL_FULLSCREEN | DDSCL_EXCLUSIVE | DDSCL_ALLOWREBOOT); dxDisplay->SetDisplayMode (640, 480, 16, 0, 0); fullscreen = TRUE; my question is: how do i switch back to windowed mode (and how do i put the menu back on)? thanks
