orientation of vertices

When giving opengl vertices to form, for example, a polygon, what''s the default orientation to use? Clockwise, or counter-clockwise? I know it works both ways, but one of them is supposed to be the default one, isn''t it?

Actually it only works both ways as long as backface-culling is of (you might consider switching that on for performance; didn´t get much result of it though). I´m not 100% sure, but from other experiences I´d say anti-clockwise is default.

You wan set the frontface winding with gl_FrontFace(arg) where arg is GL_CW or GL_CCW.. but you''re right the default value of that is GL_CCW
