Most keyboards out nowadays have extra keys available. One of my friends got one that has media keys, but they don''t control Winamp, which is what she uses. I can write a simple Win32 program to turn these key presses into Winamp controls. 1. Any idea how I can tell which button is pressed? I''m assuming its a key code that is different for each key. 2. How would I catch the input? I assume the program would be running in the background as a message only window, but I need it to receive keystrokes from ANY application.

I believe there might be a setting or something for this somewhere, because my friend also has one of these "media keyboards," and he uses winamp fine with his keyboard. I think he might have Winamp 2 though.
