Hi all; I''m using the follow sequence to get a given frame from a movie file (like NEHE) lpBi = (LPBITMAPINFOHEADER)AVIStreamGetFrame(pGf, (long)currentFrame); pData=(char *)lpBi+lpBi->biSize+lpBi->biClrUsed * sizeof(RGBQUAD); DrawDibDraw( ... ); glBindTexture(GL_TEXTURE_2D, ID); glTexSubImage2D(GL_TEXTURE_2D, 0, 0, 0, width, height, GL_BGR_EXT, GL_UNSIGNED_BYTE, data); I''m playing a video with size of 512x512 , and sometimes it looses some frames. Is there a fastest way for doing this?

I know it''s easier and fastest, but it makes no sense in using directX for videos and opengl for the rest of game...

Why not. It''s faster and easier. How does it make less sense than using the vfw API. DirectShow is beautiful.
