OpenGL OpenGL coloring problem

whenever i use glColor3f(...) it works fine in windowed mode, but in fullscreen, it deletes the red channel. So doing glColor(1.0f,1.0f,1.0f); it shows light blue instead of white in fullscreen. I am using a nvidea riva tnt2. i think the problem is related to my video card but im not sure.

I had the same problem a while ago, possibly the values in your pixeldescriptor are supported in windowed mode but not fullscreen .

i ran a demo from nehe and worked
fine on one machine, but messed up
on mine. I also have this problem with
Glut on my machine.
