Hey, my friend is trying to learn programming, but his dad wont let him sign up for Gamedev, so he asked me to ask you... do you know of any articles on running the Borland 5.5 Compiler? Thanks Quantum

I pity the kid, but has he tried borlands website? I take it you mean the free command line compiler? tell him just to type -help and the end of the compilers executable, it will tell him what he needs.

Tell your friend to download Dev-C++ from www.bloodshed.net. It''s a freeware IDE plus compiler. Dev-C++ is very popular and widely used among amateur programs. It is easy to setup and even more simple to use.
