Step 2: Search Gamedev.net
Step 3: Search Flipcode
Step 4: Search Gamasutra
Step 5: Download existing code to learn from
etc etc

thats probably the most encouraging answer ull see to that question..be happy..i could quote a few responses to me asking that same questioin...but i wont..cause they really werent that bad lol..but anyways...i wouldnt know...but just do research...i had trouble with the "read only-ness" of c..but u can download the source code of Quake one and two from id''s site...ive been staring at Q1 for a while now...but its gonna eventually help..i hope

I love the generic questions like that.... the ones that could be asnwered 100 ways, all of which would not answer the question that was meant.
