Hi, I have my terrain engine up and running but I have a problem now. I have the terrain mesh in patches like the ROAM algorithm. I split and tesselate the patches then I translate them to their world coordinates and render them. This is the problem: When I try to render another 3d object, say a house, animal, person on the mesh it slides when I scroll. I scroll by moving both the AT and FROM vectors of the view matrix the same distance. The scrolling is great but as soon as the object is off the center of the view it starts to slide towards the center and warps a little. WHY is this it is driving me nuts. If i had a place to put a demo I would but the FTP server at geocities is crap. Does anyone know of a place where I can upload a file where everyone can download it? Thanx for your help

The geocities.com FTP server works fine. All you have to do is supply the address of the file in the form:

http://www.geocities.com/yourusername/file.name

I do that and it works fine.

Check your pipeline to see if everything''s being transformed the same way if they''re doing different things. I''m having trouble visualising what you''re talking about at the moment If you do get the demo uploaded at some point i would be interested in taking a look at it, and maybe i can help you find what''s wrong.
