Hi, I was considered moving to c# because of managed code, but then i heard theres c++ .net, as I am currently programming in vc++6.0 . I''m wondering whats the difference between c# and c++.net?

Make some research. Then, if you''re still wondering, at least tell us what you want to do. The right tool for the right job, you know.

Use C#. It is syntactically a lot nicer than managed c++, and it helps you to remember that you are writing managed code.

I have gone back to c++ recently for a project due to customer requirements, after developing in c# for 6 months, and I have to say, I really much prefer c#.

Can anybody really give me the pros and cons about C++ and C#?? Thanx a lot, I''ve been wanting that for a long time... I mean I know that the C# is better in windows form designing...

PS: pros and cons, in contrast to Game-dev

I''m not the most qualified person to answer this, but there were some discussions about this in the past. Search the archives. Something like "C# Game development". You can also add "thona" to turn up some interesting results.
