I downloaded all the GLUT files so that I can develop and open apps that need the files. Now, where should the location of these files go? Right now, I have them in my "C:" directory in a seperate folder, but then when I tried to open an exe that required the GLUT files, it said that the program couldn''t find them. All I need to know is where to move this folder, and what I need to do in order for programs to recognize these files. Is there some kind of default location or something? Remedy@icestorm.net

Hi,
It depends on what OS you use GLUT. I assume you use Win32. To compile the app you need apart from the glut32.lib the winmm.lib / dll in your /lib or your source code directory. When done you have to attach the glut32.dll to your game directory(or copy them to the windows/system/ -folder). The opengl32.dll, glu32.dll and the winmm.dll should be on every win-pc.
