Does anyone here have strata 3d the free 3d modeler?
What formats does it import/export
How easy is it to model
How easy is it to texture stuff
Just wanted to know if it was worth the download!!??

I don''t think it imports any formats, the only format it exports are .dxf files. (Along with it''s own format)

Can''t remember if/what it imports and exports off had (don''t have it on this system to check).
As for easy, its seems fairly easy to use from my brief encounter with it and I am no graphics expert. Best to do is check it out for yourself.

I haven''t used it much at all but-
it imports it''s own file format
3ds - autodesk 3d studio
dxf - autodesk drawing interchange or something
minicad files
tgs - amapi
vrml 1 and 2
along with many image types
it may be worth the download, however i have only used 3ds r3 and 3dsmax r2.5 and it is nothing like them.
