Ok peeples, I was just wondering what sort of gear peeples are putting in their 2d graphics libraries these days. My little crappy ddraw wrapper, which i started today, has the usual initialise stuff, plus the ability to create surfaces which are recorded in a list for closing time. I don''t need any code, just a basic list of what sort of stuff I should be chucking in here... ---------- Disco Love For Everyone

Sprite animation support, software sysmem-vmem blitting for cards without that hardware, windowed and fullscreen modes and switching, text, pixel and line drawing, and all the surface creation stuff, clipping, palettes for 256 colour modes, scaling, rotation, stuff like that. You could put in more specific support like parallax scrolling, wraparound sprites, you know the sort of thing.
