Can anybody tell me how to add a vertice to an object in 3dsmax? I can add an isolated vertice, but I need to actually attach it to the object. Also, is there a way to change the ordering of vertices in 3dsmax? I need to change certain vertices so that they are the last vertices on the list. Thanks a lot.

1) Convert the mesh to an editable mesh (By right clicking). Then in the editable mesh option, push the attach button. Then just click on whatever you want to attach to it.

2) After you converted it to an editable mesh, do this. Right click on the mesh, in the menu go to 'Normals->FlipFaces' and then click on the faces you want flipped.

EDIT:
You could select all the faces, the choose 'Normals->Flip Selected' and it will flip them all at once.
