Is there a problem making a vectors x, y, or z equal to 0?

Just wondering because my DirectX application can display a polygon when the viewpoint is located at, say (0.001f, 10.0f, 0.001f), but not when i change those coordinates to 0, 10, 0. Thanks

Nope. I''ve never had problems like that. Is it possible that moving that small distance is enough to put the polygon beyond your back clipping plane? Double check your draw distance, just in case.
