WM_MOVE

I am writing a simple Win32 app to familiarize myself with windows messages. In my app, I use TextOut() and itoa() to print the current window size and position into the window. When I handle the WM_MOVE message, there is seemingly a new message for every pixel that the window moves! I thought that WM_MOVE would only be sent when the user has finished moving the window. Is this a problem with Windows?
