Oniric Games Tech Test
Hi, I'm the lead programmer for Oniric Games, a new game development group from Argentina.
We've been working for some time in our game engine and would like to know how it performs in different systems.
If you would like to help us, click here to download the test program.
Included in the archive you'll find the test program and a RTF document that's a results sheet. Please, fill it in after running the program and send it to the e-mail address indicated in the same file.
Thank you very much for your help.

I want to thank all of you who have already submitted the test results. Your help is very valueble to us.
Those who haven't already downloaded the test program, please do so using the link above. It's very important that we make sure our engine works in as many different platforms as possible.
Thanks,
Mariano Ruggiero

Hi everyone! Thanks once again for your help so far.
To help you find any graphics problems in the tech test, here is a screenshot showing how it should look like. ** EDIT: Look in the next posts to see the screenshot. **
Keep mailing your results, please. Bye!

So far the engine tech test is performing great in many systems (even better than I''d expected )
There have been reported two problems:
- If you ALT + TAB out of the program and try to go in again, it will crash with an error message.
- There''s a strange animation artifact when you rotate using the mouse. This happens if you rotate too slow compared to the framerate the application achieves.
I''ve been asked about the minimum requirements to run the test. Well, here are they:
- A 500 MHz or faster processor.
- An nVidia TNT2 or better video card. (Any card that supports at least two simultaneous textures and non-square textures should work fine.)
- A sound card.
- DirectX 8.1 or later.
If you have a system that you think doesn''t achieve these minimum system requirements, we would like you to test the program anyway and send us your results. These requirements are based on our tests up to now, and maybe less powerful hardware can also run it at an acceptable speed.
Thank you very much,

Hi everyone!
I'm just bumping this thread because in the past days we've been noticing many people going to our site, but only a few have emailed us the test results.
Please send us the results!!
If you don't want to fill out and mail the form, just post here saying how it worked and on what system you tried it.
Thanks.
