When I just include windows.h the define WINVER defaults to 0x0400. I''ve noticed that there''s some (or rather many) functions and structures that requires WINVER to be 0x0500, although when defining it explicitly the "this is only beta-headers"-text gets displayed. I first thought this was because I had to install the most recent service pack or something but I did and the problem''s still there. So how can I enable WINVER 0x0500??

Perhaps you need the latest version of the Win32 SDK?

"For crying out loud, she has fishes coming out of her head on either side. How can you find this hot?!"

"If anyone sees a suspicious, camouflaged factory being carried across the desert, they should report it immediately."
Sure, I need everything I dont have
I just have to find it.. Searched MSDN for a while when I first noticed this little WINVER problem, but I didn''t find anything, so a link would be appreciated.
By the way, Im using Visual C++ 6.0.
