DelphiX isn't working on my computer

when i try to run the samples from the .zip file, i get the following errors: [Error] DXDraws.pas(378): Undeclared identifier: 'D3DDEVICEDESC' [Error] DXDraws.pas(624): Undeclared identifier: 'D3DTEXTUREHANDLE' [Error] DXDraws.pas(655): Undeclared identifier: 'D3DRMUSERVISUALREASON' [Fatal Error] DXDraws.pas(804): Could not compile used unit 'DXRender.pas' how can i solve this problem? thanks in advance... -Agoth Well, i'm running Delphi 4 in Windows 98, and i tried Gunner's solutions but they didn't work... -Agoth Edited by - Agoth on 6/27/00 11:09:55 AM

What''s your computer like? What Samples are you running? Win95, 98, NT, or 2000?

Hi Agoth,

Check you Lib path, make sure you have an entry with the full path to your Delphix/source directory.

That''s in: Tools / Environment options / Library Tab.

Then at the end of your''Library Path'', add the location of your
DelphiX/Source directory.

You should be able to compile fine now.

tip: if you''ve downloaded the Japanese version of DelphiX 7, the comments will give systax check errors(diff language), so either remove the comments or download the english version. I think Turbo has it online for DL.
