OpenGL How Can I do for use openGL to load a bitmap?

OpenGL is an plataform independent API, and have no built-in way to load images or textures. You have to write your own function to load a bitmap, but that's not difficult. Take a look at Wotsit, you'll find the Bitmap's file format specification there. It would be easier if you use Win32 functions though.

There are more than just one way, the auxilary library (ick), GDI (double ick), write your own. Right now I use the auxilary library. It's actually not that bad for simple bitmaps.
