I am looking into these two font libraries for SDL, which do you consider to be better and why?

can either of those print out as text a numeric variable? like if i said print(x); and x was an int equal to 12 it would show 12 on the screen?

no, but thats easily fixed you write a function called NumToString(int num) and have the return variable a char*, and use the c function sprintf. so you would do something like this to print a number to the screen:

PutString(0,0,NumToString(integer));

there ya go!
