Were can i find good sample(source code) for 3d rts game using direct3d?, ive got a problem on how to keep track objects in a 3d rts engine... im using height map (.raw) for my terrain, can you help me on this or perhaps send me some samples.. i have done 2d rts gae before ang it easy to track things angd object my problem now is how to track objects (their location on the map) and collision detection of object in a terrain world, pls help me on this... as far as terrain collision, or finding the hieghtunder a point, check out this post. billybob calculations make sense
