Hi, I'm making a 2d-game. The gfx are like the most 2d-rpg (not a top view) And I have a overlapping problem. Here's a truck for example. A nice one :-) _/----------/ /----------/|----/ |----------|----/| |----------|----|| |-O------O-|-O--|/ If I want to draw a perso and if it's have a greater y than the truck, I have to draw the perso AFTER the truck( so the perso overlaps the truck). If the y is not greater, I have to draw the perso BEFORE the truck. It's a Z-buffer like problem. My question: what's the best way to handle this ? Thanks [edited by - FatalError on August 6, 2003 6:11:55 AM] [edited by - FatalError on August 6, 2003 6:13:15 AM] [edited by - FatalError on August 6, 2003 6:13:37 AM] [edited by - FatalError on August 6, 2003 6:14:20 AM]
