Question on GL_EXT_ cull_vertex extension

I''m was unaware of this function, however after reading the SGI paper on it, it seems useful. The problem with GL_EXT functions is that they are just that, extensions. This often means that they may be here today gone tommorrow in terms of implementation. This may be one reason why it isn''t being supported. Of course this could be an official extension which ATI didn''t support. Here is a link to the SGI Paper.

Vertex culling is not supported on any pc graphics card I know of, although i believe it was supported in SGI''s software OpenGL implementation. In general vertex culling is fairly useless today and it can lead to silhouette artifacts so you really shouldn''t use it.
