Hi, colliding problem again (in VB)
Hi
I have a colliding problem with my D3D game. Now I have asked about this problem here (in this forum) before and I were given a few tutorials but I couldn''t find the answer in them.
So, if any of you know a tutorial that he is sure that has got the basics of how to prevent 3D objects from going one inside another then please tell me the address.
One more thing, I am still new in DX so I am working with DX7 so please don''t give me solutions for DX8, thanks.
Thank you for your help and bye for now
The collision detection is not specific to any directx version (or any graphics api, in fact).
It''s just mathematics, geometry and physics.
Sorry, no tut links from me :/

Collisions arn''t related to DirectX, so I wouldn''t worry about getting answers related to DirectX 8/9.
Bounding boxes/spheres, ray tracing, polygon intersections. All of those are simple collision techniques. I won''t do the work for you, but that''ll help you know what to search for.
