What do you have to do to a DDBLTFX structure to perform bitmap rotation? I''ve tried to set the dwRotationAngle field, and when blitting I''ve used the DDBLT_ROTATIONANGLE flag. But, the things I try to rotate do not appear on the screen.

Check the error from the function. If it says something about not having any hardware support for it, then like Witchlord said, you do not have the hardware. Unfortunately the DirectDraw HEL does not have support for rotation, so you have to write your own rotater or prerotate the sprites.

the best way Ive found to do it is to use D3D to rotate a quad and texture map that
