Hi there , i am developing a hobby fps engine . I am using .md2 files(for the moment) for players, bots etc. My question is -> The player''s .md2 file and weapon''s .md2 file are different. So how do i make sure the weapon is always at the correct positio with respect to the player (i.e on his hand). Is ther any method to know where the hand of the player is w.r.t his (0,0,0) Thanx a lot !!!! On course to my first FPS engine , zoooooom

the position of weapons have been already set to the right position.you don''t have to do anything but just put them on the same position as the character(and also the same frame).

I know nothing about your question but I know that 3d gamestudio is very good 3d program that supports md2 formats.
